Welcome to Chichester Station Taxis (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking a journey or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Our Services

Chichester Station Taxis provides private hire and taxi services including:

  • Standard A-to-B journeys
  • Chauffeur and executive travel
  • Wedding and bridal car hire
  • Special event and long-distance transfers

All services are subject to vehicle and driver availability.

3. Bookings and Confirmations

  • Bookings can be made by phone, email, or in person at our office or designated taxi ranks.
  • All bookings are subject to confirmation. A booking is only valid once confirmed by us.
  • For advanced bookings, we recommend providing accurate pick-up details and contact information.
  • Changes or cancellations should be made as early as possible (see Section 6 below).

4. Fares and Payments

  • Fares are calculated based on distance, time, and the type of service requested.
  • All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable.
  • Payments can be made by cash, credit card, or debit card.
  • Credit and debit card transactions are processed securely using approved payment gateways.
  • We reserve the right to request pre-payment for certain bookings (e.g., long-distance or special occasions).

5. Waiting Time and Additional Charges

  • Waiting time charges may apply if the passenger is delayed after the agreed pick-up time.
  • Additional charges may apply for:
  • Extra stops
  • Excess luggage
  • Cleaning fees (in cases of spillages or damage caused by passengers)
  • Tolls or parking fees where applicable

  • Passengers must behave respectfully and responsibly while travelling in our vehicles.
  • Smoking, alcohol consumption, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
  • Drivers have the right to refuse service to any passenger displaying abusive, threatening, or unsafe behaviour.

8. Safety and Liability

  • All vehicles are licensed, insured, and maintained to the required safety standards.
  • Passengers must wear seatbelts at all times.
  • Chichester Station Taxis is not liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances such as traffic, road closures, or adverse weather.
  • We will not be responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle.

9. Data Protection and Privacy

  • We are committed to protecting your personal information.
  • Data collected during bookings (including contact details and payment information) is used solely to provide and improve our services.
  • Payment details are processed securely and are not stored by us after the transaction is complete.

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
